Building Re-Sources
South San Francisco
I love this reclaimed yard for its fun, thoughtful vignettes using old windows and other random pieces from demolitions. You can find great deals on chunks of concrete, copper pipe, steel random parts, and they tumble their own recycled glass for excellent mulch!

Granada Native Garden
801 Murrieta Blvd, Livermore, CA 94550
A 100% volunteer effort led by Louann Tung, of the Alameda Creek Alliance, turned a derelict piece of land into a thriving native garden with currently no water applied. A walk down the Arroyo Mocho Creek and a picnic lunch on the beautiful tile mosaic tables makes this a quaint and lovely spot to visit.
